TimeLine Special: Photography meet up with London Camera Exchange

We are delighted to be working in collaboration with LCE in 2025, and for our first meet up we will be at the fantastic Papplewick Pumping Station! With exclusive use of this amazing venue you will have the opportunity to capture amazing portraits around this wonderful setting. We will have a variety of characters available for you to photograph so this day will offer plenty of variety and the natural light in the pump house is truly beautiful.

For this meet up we will have some 1940's re-enactors, a professional modern fashion model and some amazing steam punk characters available for you to capture around the venue. As well as the interiors we will also have use of the picturesque grounds. There will be plenty on offer when it comes to photography opportunities and this will be the perfect chance to chat to the LCE Derby team about gear and take advantage of some amazing offers that will be available for that day only! It is also the perfect event to socialise with other photographers and meet like minded people.

Lunch and a hot drink is also included in your ticket for the day.

Papplewick Pumping Station is one of the best examples of decorative Victorian engineering in the country. The ornate pump house, industrial boiler room and picturesque surrounding grounds offers endless photography opportunities. You will be surrounded by fantastic backdrops from old solid wood doors with brass handles to wonderful decorative ironwork pillars and stained glass windows. Not only is it a great venue for capturing portraits of our models & re-enactors but it is also a great place for architecture and macro photography with the decorative interiors.
